Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Tim Duncan will play tonight. There was some thought that Duncan might sit out tonight - the second game of a back-to-back. I watched Duncan shooting about an hour and a half before game time and he looked about the way he usually does.

If Duncan can play on a back to back after last night's minutes, his knees must be getting better.

It means he feels okay and that's a great sign. I'm thrilled.
I didn't care if he played as long as he could play. We'll see how he looks, see how many minutes Pop lets him play. But it's got to be a good sign.

I think it's the right move. I'd either shut down Duncan for the season if he can further hurt himself or get into playoff mode. Going halfway into playoff mode would have been the worst option.

I personally thought Tim looked and felt good during last night's performance. 85% or so.

Really no options now, they must play Duncan if they want any shot at HCA in the first round.

Exactly...I'm really excited to watch the game...could be a good one. Maybe we can rub the results in TLong's face.. :)
