I had a conversation with a friend who thought Pippen was the 2nd best SF :bang
so i want to know your opinion.

Larry Bird is the GOAT SF.
So who is the 2nd greatest small forward of all-time then?

LeBron or Antoine Walker. It's debatable.

Lebron James. The King has assumed the throne with 6 seasons on his tread.

Blake

Nique might have been the 2nd greatest scoring SF of all time.

Why didn't you list Pippen instead of "Other"?

Tough call between Baylor and the Dr... though I think it'll end up being LeBron (unless he wins a few titles and moves ahead of Bird).

Larry Bird.

I think LeBron is #1.

Dr. J.

Lebron will surpass all SF, and perhaps all players period before he is done.

Pippen? Pippen wouldn't even make that list.

Oh, and James Worthy > Scottie Pippen

As the number what player?

You got like how many teams in the playoffs, and playng with the greatest winner of all time, Bill Russell. 8 rings, I am suprised he did not get more.

And Pippen didn't have anyone in particular helping him?

Yeah Tardemire, Pippen had trash on his 6 championship teams. Especially that shooting guard scrub who started next to him. Boy did he suck.

Ya, Pippen was not responsible was being the defensive stalwart he was and the main ball handler in the triangle offense.

Havlicek was the leading scorer on three of those championship teams and at least he won a Finals MVP.

I never said he wasn't responsible.

But to save an additional post, if your setting up an argument claiming Pippen was the MVP of those teams, I'm calling you the following in advance:

A retarded brain dead piece of dog shit.

May I remind you that Scottie Pippen happens to be the top assist SF in NBA history ahead of John Havlicek?

It is also safe to assume that Jordan would have 0 rings without Pippen. As for Havlicek, Bill Russell would have won most of his without him.

Sorry for being rude. I just feel Pippen is the better all around player who could adjust to any role on a team, but it is easily Julius Erving as 2nd best SF.

Being the better assist man doesn't necessarily make that player better than another player.

Sorry, but there are more convincing arguments for Havlicek. Not only does he have that Finals MVP, but Havlicek has two championship rings WITHOUT Bill Russell.

Anyone of Havlicek and Pippen's calibre can score, and Pippen did it during 1994 as the 1st option, he adjusted to that pretty well and in 2000 with the Blazers, he also adjusted to his role as the 3rd option.

He obviously didn't adjust as well to the role of 1st option as Havlicek did seeing that he never won shit as the 1st option.

Yeah, he only had 1 year as the main option because he knew that if he wanted to win a title he needed to be the sidekick.

Nope. Cause the Bulls front office happened to be a joke.

Bulls front office: 1996-1997 Lets trade Scottie Pippen for pot smoking Shawn Kemp

1997 off season: This guy by the name of Tracy McGrady has potential. Lets trade Pippen for him.

Why are Spurs fans so uptight about weed smoking?

Dr J was spectacular! Lebron will go down as one of the greatest of all times. It is almost impossible when comparing between eras. Do yourself a favor and google Baylors career and accomplishments along with his competitors comments. He was the first real high flyer. The Dr J and MJ before them. He changed the offensive game from set shooting and basic jump shots to athletic above the rim scoring.

Havilick and Barry, while great, are not in the league of the above mentioned 3. Not even close.
