I have no problem playing NOLA or Portland in the first round......we need to stay away from Utah (they're just a total mismatch) and I'd like to avoid SA too just because of their playoff experience, but if we had to face them then so be it..we match up pretty well so it'll probably go the distance and any team could win.

Rockets can beat any team with scoring threats at Center, SF positions. A slow PF can also be contained; quick PF with a shooting touch can spell trouble. Homo 3 point shooting centers are of course hard to defend.
To beat the Rockets (easiest way), you got to exploit the guard play. Artest and Batman are both not the best at guarding point guards or "elite" SG. All the SF in the league can basically f*** off.
If the Rockets win out, we can do no worse than the 3 seed. If the Nuggets lose to either the Kings at home or the Blazers in Portland, we would be the 2 seed, virtue of the tie-breaker.

If that last part comes true then get ready for a Rockets/Jazz first round match cause we're gonna end up as the 7 seed. Dallas will jump to the 6 seed and the Hornets will end up as the 8 seed. I don't mind playing the Rockets again.
rocketfan would cry himself to sleep at night if they had to play the Jazz again.
and the funny part is they will

Dallasfan has already ran out of tears over their failures and atleast when Rockfan does finally go to sleep he has memories of two championships.......when Dallasfan goes to sleep he has reoccuring nightmares of Dwade raping his mavpricks and breaking his foot off in their collective asses..
P.S.
Good luck with the Lakers loser. :rollin

Manu = 3 rings, olimpics, euro, etc etc….
Don’t even put them in the same sentence.

:( well i was cheering the rockets in that game ........against the jazz, and tmac tried quite hard. And i was sooooo impressed with how you guys fought tooth and nail. Started off supporting the rockets after the spurs, for this season as a result. But then when I saw, infighting, tmac basically mailing it in, and chuckin shots, artest chuckin shots even now, it kinda put me off. I wonder what happened. :depressed

Well Adleman has the Rockets clicking again. Now if only he can figure out his substitution patterns. Seems that he now has more faith in Kyle Lowry finishing games and that is a relief. He has shortened his rotation down to 8 players for the playoffs. I think we'll be ok.

Wafer > Brooks at this point and since they both do similar things which is score I'd say play Wafer more. Brooks hasn't gotten that whole assist thing down yet or he drives into traffic throws up a wild shot and gets it blocked or commits a turnover. When Brooks is on, he's very good but he's off more than on most nights.
Spurs will get out of the first round. "Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion".

lowry looked good, he seems stronger than brooks, and plays better defense. But i am still pissed, coz i felt rox could have won so many games (i was watching a few) where artest kept chucking shots, and making boneheaded fouls. You guys really need to play inside out, and pound it to yao in the fourth, he never chokes and is a beast. Unfortuntately, he never seems to get the ball. Alteast if he gets it, and they force it out wiht a double team, leaves 3 pt shooters with a open shot. But the offense never even goes inside out in the 4th.
and watching artest trying to create off the dribble is like watching a semi move in slow motion when its stuck in the mud. Not that i dont like artest, but he looks great when he plays D and shoots open threes. Not much more.

Adleman is stressing a fluid offense where the ball isn't forced down low to Yao everytime. On the other hand, JVG was right. Artest is a ball stopper but he seems to be doing better as of late.

I know what u mean....The games that mcgrady played hurt in the rox could have won, like the milwaukee game....Against the Lakers, ron ron goes on his 1 on 5 game, and each time rockets lose by close margin. Kobe can take over a game, but if you give the ball to yao down low like you said, then they can trade baskets until kobe wears down. It shall be interesting these last couple of games :toast

hmm gotcha mebbe he is pullin a "pop" where he is expanding the offense in the regular season, so he has more options in the post season. Anyways, bestaluk and FTL, i hope this years WC is atleast competitive. :flag:

The only team that I think is going to get bitchslapped for sure out of the first round are the Portland Trailblazers. No matter which team gets them, they are young and inexperienced in the post season.

I don't know why Houston and Portland think they are finishing ahead of the Spurs. The Nuggets might end up with the #2 seed but they are by no means the 2nd best team in the West.

Despite us sweeping Portland, i think they will be pretty tough in the postseason with the Rose Garden rocking.
I think Houston will be tough but all we have to do is win once at the Toyota Center because i don't think they would take one here.
There won't be ANY easy matchups for Dallas, but obviously it would be hilarious if we beat Houston again:lol

exactly the rockets are more deserving of the 2nd seed, it will be easier for Jazz to get the 7th seat than to run for a higher place. The rockets are definitely the most disciplined team around the league, their GM even demands his players wear the same brand of pants, they have freedoms to choose color though.
