On Randoph:

Warriors kid forward Anthony Randolph, who spent the game desperate to slam on Mutombo, going a little nuts after Mutombo sent back one dunk, by fouling him so blatantly on an attempt at another that Don Nelson had to sit him for a moment before he entirely lost his mind.

"We need NBA Classics to show more of the Mutombo games so some of the youngest guys can learn," said Mutombo, 23 years Randolph's senior. "Everybody is trying me. I don't know why. That young boy tried so hard.
"Man, I wish he got at least one dunk to make his day. He tried so hard. He kept telling me, "I'm going to get you before the day's over." It's too bad. He tried, but he didn't get a chance to dunk on Dikembe Mutombo. He's not going to be able tell his grandkids I got Dikembe with one.":lol

NBA should teach kids to respect a 18 years veteran..... I mean play but don't talk trash.

Don't talk trash and then proceed to get your ass whipped by a 50 year old man. :lol

He did the same shit to Yao, and Yao tore him a new one.

There is one thing i must succumb to...Randolf is going to be CRAZY good.

That guy is 6'10" and is as fluid as a guard. When he jumps he looks like he is jumping off a trampoline. Its scary to think its only his rookie year.

Randolph is a beast in training. Plus what 19 year old kid doesn't think he's a badass?

Randolph is a fascinating player. He has superstar talent and he is a complete headcase. Nelson has had to bench him a couple of times this year because he lost his mind and poor Keith Smart had to talk Randolph down from the ledge every time. Randolph will either be in All Star in two years, or out collecting cans and barking at traffic.

You beat me to it. :lol

Perhaps Randolph should have looked a highlight of Malik Rose, dunking on Mutombo in Game 5 of the 2003 NBA Finals.

Actually, trying to dunk on Deke is probably the biggest respect you could give to him.
