...is one set of film footage good for, anyway?
BBC films and releases Planet Earth, the series
Discovery buys the rights to the footage, re-cuts it, adds different music and a new narration by Sigourney Weaver and re-shows their own version of Planet Earth, the series.
Now, fucking Disney has their hands on this SAME footage, and is releasing a THEATRICAL version called Earth. Is anyone really going to pay theater prices + concessions to see this for the upteenth time years later?
