Cavs F Ben Wallace bruises knee
CLEVELAND (AP)—Cavaliers forward Ben Wallace left Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics with a bruised left knee and will not return.
Wallace recently returned to the lineup after missing 17 games with a broken right leg. It’s not clear how he got hurt, and the team did not immediately say if Wallace will undergo further medical tests.
Wallace has been coming off the bench for the first time in his career since he returned. He’s averaging just 3.0 points and 6.5 rebounds, but he’s perhaps Cleveland’s best interior defender.
