If DWade wins a couple of rings without shaq, then he has to be put in the conversation with MJ. That's IF......

And now the Heat get to avoid the Magic,Celtics and Cavs in the 1st round. That series with the Hawks is going to be great.

agreed..wades been a beast all year. he's pretty much carried the heat on his back. he deserves it!

Wade has done more with less. LeBron does not have a rookie for a point guard or a rookie forward on his team. Without Wade that team is slightly better then the Wizards. Is not short of amazing that he has that team set at the 5th seed with a great chance to advance to the semis.

no lebron doesnt. he has been great all year ill give you that..its all about how you look at the mvp award. the mvp to me represents who is most valuable to there team..and imo wade is most valuable to the heat than kobe or lebron are to there teams. the heat w/out wade are a lottery team. take lebron on the cavs they still have west, williams, big-z etc. there probably a 40 win team. the lakers w/out kobe prob. about the same. the heat are 20 win team w/out him...he's the mvp this year

Lebron definitely deserves it. Best record in the league and it's all because of him. Actually, his numbers are better than Wade's too.

CP3 has a better case than Wade since his team has a better record, but no he deserves the MVP over Lebron.

Lebron Deserves it, everyone said kobe didnt deserve it when he had Kwame, Smush, Luke and Odom in the Line Up

The whole "doing more with less argument" doesn't mean squat. LeBron and Kobe carried crap teams in the past and they didn't win the MVP - so why should the rules change for Wade this year?

LeBron is going to win the MVP in a landslide. His numbers are just as good/better than Wade's, and the Cavs have the best record in the league and are flat out dominant at home.

the numbers are pretty much the same..both shoot 48% fg, wade is avg. 29.9 pnts, 5 boards, 7 assist, 2 steals, and one block per game..and thats with a shitty team. lebrons numbers..28 pnts, 7 boards, 7 assist, 1 steal and 1 block per game. bron only beats wade in one category just barely..and thats w/ a good team. my vote would still go for wade than lebron than kobe

True MVPs:

Paul > Wade > Lebron > Parker > Kobe

Kobe NEVER carried a crap team, he had Shaq for quite some time

kobe didnt win it with a crap team so wade shouldnt win it. end of story. lebron is now the greatest player never to win a mvp so its his turn now that kobe finally (embarassing it took that long) won it last season

doesnt matter what happened to kobe in the past and the fact that he didnt win it. thats irrelevant. wade's numbers and lebron's numbers are pretty much similar in every category. and the heat would be going after blake griffin this year if it was not for wade. he's the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER to his team period

And your argument is the Cavs would be 65-15 without LeBron?

Historically, your line of reasoning doesn't match past winners. Do you think Scottie Pippen should've won it when Jordan retired in 1994?. And hell, Jordan couldn't have been that valuable to his team if they only lost 2 more games when he left, right?

Kobe 05-06- 35ppg
D-Wade 08-09- 28 ppg

It is clear who the best player is though, D-Wade even though he is avging less points. During those seasons I believe Tmac scored 62, Kobe 81, D-Wade 55, but Wade has so much of an impact on the team. I can't really explain, actually I had to watch a lot of heat games to gain a better perspective. Never really liked the guy before this season anyways but I wouldn't mind the rockets throwing 30 mil at him :D

Lebron, Wade, Kobe, D12, paul/parker in that order.

How has Wade done more with less?

The Cavs are 65-15 while the Heat are 44-40 or whatever they are. LeBron has done more, about 25 games more. He obviously has a much better supporting cast, but hes numbers are right on par with Wade's.

Wade has been awesome though.

1. LeBron
2. Wade
3. Kobe

It's amazing that Kobe is in the MVP talks because he has a solid team surrounding him. Paul is better than him in every stat besides points, and Kobe shoots the ball probably 5-6 times more a game than Paul. Plus you can't deny that field goal percentage comparison :rollin

hell no..but i think if u take lebron off the cavs they might still be able to win 40 games maybee. but u take wade off the heat i think there nothing more than a 20 win team. im not trying to say wade is better i believe lebron is the best in the game right now..no one is above him. what im tryin to say is if you take lebron, kobe, and wade off each of there teams who would suffer more? the heat would suffer the most imo. thats just how i look at the mvp tho not sayin im right but to me the mvp award means which player is most valuable to his teams success.

If we are going to throw flopping in the choice process of choosing MVPs we might as well cut out 70% of the applicants :lol

Lebron may not deserve MVP, but he'll likely get it.

Wade and the Heat are unlikely to get past the semifinals, so it would be nice for Wade to fetch MVP honors. He's had a hell of a season.
