What is it with this trend of previously unheard of players having career nights vs. the Spurs? I don't know who this joke Spencer Hawes thinks he is, but he needs to stop acting like he's supposed to be making those shots....I've never seen so much fake shooting in my whole life.

I'll be glad when the Spurs take care of business and send that fluke player out of the arena for the season.

You haven't heard of Spencer Hawes? Pretty solid. Definitely no joke, he has ability. Can shoot the three and rebound, nice shooting touch. I would much rather have him than Matt Bonner.

Oh well, the Spurs won. We won on a controversy, but that's okay, Hawes shouldn't have been making those shots anyway.

It's called being defended by Matt Bonner. I'm sure he's not the first player to have a career night against Matt...

Exactly. By saying you don't know him you're just showing us all how little you actually know about the NBA.

He's 7'1", more athletic than Tim, soft shooting touch, and has only 2 years in the NBA.

He's blossomed at the end of this season, many double-doubles.

He should have a good career, given a couple more years to develop.

SD, start these "interesting" threads in the NBA forum. I had to unpink you for the fourth time.

Last time.

Lmao at SD getting unpinked.

I agree. Who does he think he is. He hit some shots against LA. I guess he has a bright future with the Queens.

Spencer Hawes is a really good player, he really improved this year because he isnt burried by the bench like he was last year when Brad Miller ran the show. Only if we good have a guy like him.
