I'll trade him for Antonio "Mr. Freeze" Daniels. Mason can't be so bad that he freezes the Spurs offense so severely that it takes the rest of the game to recover. I'll take Mason playing point over Daniels any day.

AD is a crafty veteran and will definitely give you some quality minutes in the playoffs. I think any team would like to have him as a role player. RMJ is nowhere near his level yet, and he isn't a true point guard. I'm pretty sure he was quoted as saying he's never played PG until this season with the Spurs. Pop did the same thing with Ginoblili and it worked out, so we're all crossing our fingers.

Roger's biggest problem is that he can't finish at the rim, or even in the paint, making his drive and kicks, a staple of our offense, ineffective.

This has always been a problem with Daniels. He has never been a point guard. The spurs tried to make him a point guard and it did not work out. He has always been better at playing the 2 position. Surprising that teams have not picked up on this.He is like the guy who has been divorced 5 times, there are still woman left that think they can change him, but it will never happen.

Spurs trying to make SG play point? Never heard of that before... :lol
Hill, Mason and Manu this year alone, IIRC.

Simple. Switch Hill with Mason.

Hill is a SG. That's what he played in college. Pop tried to make him a PG, but the reality is that he isn't one (yet). Sure, he can slash to the basket like he did early in the season, but a SG does that too. The trick is creating for your teammates. Calling and executing plays that get other guys involved. Specially because outside of Manu and Tony, nobody else can create their own shot. With Mason we just run a pick and roll at the 3 point line. When the big hedges, we really got nothing else going on. With Hill we basically run 4 down for Timmy. Unfortunately, there's no quick solution to this at least this season.

You heard right. Mason is terrible at PG. Can't blame the guy as Pop puts him in that position.:wow
