Can't afford to let their guard down one bit. Blowout wins have been few and far between this season, and that's more likely to continue to be the case without Manu.

Spurs need to take care of business.

Just saw Jon Barry on espn coast to coast, he pretty much said dont even worry about the Spurs...you know its funny how we still have the best PF in the game and people still doubt us...granted at least Jon has said this the whole season and we are without Manu, but wouldnt it be something for the Spurs to pull of the championship run and shut everyone up? I guess that's just my two cents..you never ever count out the heart of a champion..I'm sure the Spurs still have something left in the tank for the rest of this season into the playoffs...As much as the Lakers are so good and are the clear cut #1 seed in the West...the Spurs always have a puncher's chance...til the end.. til the F***IN wheels fall off I'm riding this team..GO SPURS GO!

With the list they have, there is no excuse for the Warriors not making the playoffs. Don Nelson is a fucking wanker who couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag, and the ownership have their heads jammed firmly up each others' arses.

I'd use a word other than "heart" - they put the effort in, it's LEADERSHIP they lack. Leadership from their coach, leadership from on court leaders. Jax can only do so much.

Part of the coach's job is to develop the team's leadership, but Nelson would rather play poker with Kevin Bacon than actually do his job properly.

Y'know what, in a game of 1-on-1 with Ronny, I reckon I could make one lefty hook. See, I'm a righty, so I'd set him up going right 4 or 5 times (and getting blocked every time), and when I pulled out the drop step to the lefty hook he'd not be ready for it. ;)

I actually hook better with my left than right and can bank it in out to 10ft from any angle on the left block.

Turiaf is a foul machine. I consider Bonner a little foul prone, and Turiaf racks up fouls at about 1.5 times the pace that Matt does. And, frankly, I think he still gets by with too much. He may have defensive intensity, but he's a bull in a china shop.

Totally. As I said, he'd block my first 5 shots or so going to the right hand, and his guard would go down, hell he'd be joking around anyway and not playing full-on D, then I'd put on the drop-step and hook with the left hand from behind my body. how do tims legs effect tims shooting? not just his jumpshot. but hes shooting like 42 percent since all the knee news

Never played basketball? Try shooting without legs, it's a bit hard. A lot of the power in your shot, whether jumpshooting, laying it up or hooking, comes from your calves, hamstrings and gluts.

About time the Spurs round off into Playoff form. Sure its against the Warriors, but momentum is momentum.

Mason is killer so far. 6-7 FG (2-3 3pt) for 14
Tony with 14, 6-9 FG

Tim looking good with 11 and 6, but only shooting 4-10. He's moving a bit better though, so that's promising.

The offense looks smooth, some of that has to be credited to the Warriors terrible defense, but the Spurs are looking good. Hopefully we can keep it up so the starters can rest so they can get flopped on by Chris Paul.
