INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom strained his left shoulder against Indiana on Friday night and did not return.

Odom first injured the shoulder in the first half, but played through the pain until aggravating it in the third quarter. He had nine points and three rebounds in 21 minutes before leaving.
Odom's injury will be reevaluated Saturday or Sunday in Los Angeles.

...this month is the CRUCIAL month for playoff-bound teams...looks like Lakers' hopes are dimmed... :rolleyes

They really didn't have much of a chance with or without Lamar.

good thing about Lamar despite rumors about Kobe's bashings in the locker room, the pinpointings, the lack of aggresiveness taunts, he remain quiet and just play his game. But you can see on his face that he is not happy(in my opinion). I think he looked happier last summer even w/ just the bronze.

The Laker playoff hopes ended the day that management ceded control over that team and its personnel decisions to Captain Colorado.

Agreed. Lakers were already on way to a LOSING RECORD anyway under King Kobe.

they have been simply pathetic with or without Odom.
