Only way for a Mavs/Spurs matchup is for DEN win, SA win, DAL win...not likley, dont see Nuggets winning in Portland

Maybe the spurs will luckily break into the WCF and matchup there with our boys in blue.

Are you sure about this? There is some speculation about a new tie-breaker rule just implemented this year. It is my understanding that Portland and Denver have nothing to do with the Spurs seeding.

I think if the Spurs beat NO and Dallas beats Houston, the Spurs will be the number 3 seed (because of the new tie breaker that goes to the division winners) and the Mavs will be the 6th.

Maybe Torres will not lose to the real boys in blue.

I think I heard of that rule as well. Despite h2h tiebreaker advantage over Spurs for Blazers, Spurs would be seeded 3rd and Blazers 4th if both finished 54-28 and Houston finished 53-29 since Spurs are division champs.

All comes down to one game for the Rockets. SW Division Winners if we win. Rockets are going to come out firing in the Mavs game.

Spurs/NO & Mavs/Rockets should be very good games. I honestly do not know what to root for.

Good news is they are on at the same time!

Not really... A Portland win, SA win and Houston loss would pair Spurs/Mavs.

that chart had some mistakes...in order for Mavs to face SA all that has to happen is a Mavs win and a Spurs win...ties are broken first by divison winner which would be the Spurs

LET'S Go MAVS

Mavs<Spurs breaks down the seedings much better in his thread at the Spurs forum. Just scroll past page 1 or 2 until you see the latest posts which are updated. That might help some of you who are interested.

Good luck to the Mavs tomorrow!
