as stupid as they are they really are needed. just think of that dumb old lady that ordered the coffee at mcdonalds and sued them. the stupid girl in san antonio that used a can opener on her bottle of hair spray(this happened close to 10 years ago) near a gas stove and she caught on fire. there's a lot of stupid people out there.

its not so much that there are a lot of stupid people

its more of a legal protection because some people hurt themselves on purpose just to get a lawsuit for big bucks

I know the attorney who won that Mickey D's case. His practice expanded rather nicely after winning that one.

According to internet it was originally in the millions, then reduced to well under a million, then settled out of court, which means less than the reduced amount
