Which will make things all the more amusing when they crash and burn in the first round. :toast

I dont know why but I really want the Blazers to get bounced in the first round...if not then, then get curbstomped by the Lakers

Portland seeing the Lake show in the second is the only reasonable scenario in which we can end up winning a title, so lets hope so.

LOL..never thought a thread would actually be started where someone would flaunt their Hollinger standings. Hollinger is a douchebag with a computer deciding his rankings. You really think it means anything?

Hollinger's computer rankings are usually fairly indicative of how well teams are playing.

1. Cavs 2. Lakers... not much to argue there

Celtics were in the top 3 usually but Garnett's injury has bogged them down. Magic are top 4 too.

Hornets 15th, as it should be :smokin

Blazers have been scorching lately and since there is an emphasis on recent games played and margin of victory (Blazers 5th best in NBA), it's not surprising they're 4th at the present.

You serious???

Houston will not sniff a title for atleast another decade or maybe when Lebron retires.

Give us Portland. I know that Portland cannot hang with the Rockets.

You have no chance at winning a title. PERIOD. Get your mind right you dumbass. You suck, your team will lose in the first round, go away.

if only hollingers power rankings had anything to do with actual playoff performace.

If Portland gets Houston they are totally fucked, they have a better chance with SA but still won't win the series. They better hope they get the three seed and end up with NO who they will have a chance against, if they win that series they will get destroyed by Denver, yes Denver will win two playoff series, wtf is the world coming to.

LMAO @ the morons who called me out this summer when I said Portland would be in the top 5-6 seeds and the Clippers wouldn't make the playoffs. Even with a wholly disappointing season from Oden, I aimed too low in my prediction... and Roy > Baron :lol

I said it was a scenario where the Rockets have a shot at a title...see below.

Wow so hostile. Middle school much?

Anyway...If Portland, by some small miracle, takes out the Lakers, Houston could get this playoff path:

New Orleans -> Denver -> Portland -> Cleveland.

That is very winnable. But thats really the only feasable way it could happen. Rockets won't beat Utah or LA in a series.

Both Portland and Utah for some strange reason have the Lakers number.

How does Utah have the Lakers number? Portland just has the Lakers number up in Portland in the regular season, it's their fucking super bowl, the Lakers couldn't care any less about the lonely jailblazers. Once the playoffs come it's always a different story between the two.

Utah doesn't have the Laker's number, and Portland only has the Lakers number in regular season home games.

We know that because we have seen this generations Lakers and Blazer squads face each other countless times in the post-season right?

The majority of all Rocketsfans want the Blazers as their first course meal.

Everyone wants the Blazers, they have no experience in the playoffs, and they are the easiest out of the 8, except maybe the mavs.

Actually the Spurs and Hornets would be the easiest 2 teams in the West. Both of them are horrible teams.

You should be considering your best player's knees are about to rot off and your second best player, well, isn't there.

That series might go 6 games, and that's only if the Mavs have been drinking before a few games.

Nobody would take a bet that the Spurs will lose to the ponies in a 7 game series. Manu was a huge loss, but I know well enough that they will not lose to them unless either Duncan or Parker get injured.
