A man was punched in the face after he removed a Dallas Cowboyshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/16/man-punched-for-grabbing-cowboys-flag/#) flag from a car in downtown Washington, D.C. earlier this week.
According to the Associated Press, a pedestrian grabbed the flag (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/04/15/AR2009041502313.html) from a vehicle that was stopped in traffic and threw it to the ground.
Police and witnesses say someone in the car then got out and punched the flag-grabber in the face by the time he had crossed the street. The man was treated for a bruised forehead.
It was unclear whether the person was sticking up for the Cowboys, or just didn’t like that the man touched his car.

Agreed. That is total bush league. I have seen team gear from teams I don't like and have never had the urge to pull that crap.
