Lost game 2 in 1999
So we have to lose one of the first 2 home games

or we can just win 16 in a row, and i'll be satisfied.

Without Ginobili and with rest being at a premium, the Spurs need to take care of business this time around.

I would feel much better myself if the Spurs won these first 2 home games.

I love the optimism 16-0 i wish, I am a huge fan but that is unlikely. If spurs go 16-0 I will go to SA and job in the river myself!!!

I would love to go into Dallas up 2-0, but it's not like our HCA has been that dominant to the point where it would devastate me if we came out 1-1.

ADS is trying to prevent mass e-suicide if the Spurs lose tonight. I say let 'em jump! :)

It would be huge for SA to go up 2-0 but I'm not expecting it.
I'll be happy if after game 4 we're at least 2-2.
And then we can close it out in 6!

These first 2 games could be key in the series. I like our chances if we steal one on the road, but otherwise it's a dogfight in game 7 IMO.

My stomach's already in knots. It's going to be a good series.

unlike several of the western conference teams, we are not significantly worse on the road compared to at home. i'm not worried about losing home court advantage, timmy d played well and as long as he's healthy, we'll always be competitive.

Spurs had Manu in those years...So now lets just hope Bonner will score 70 points in the second game.

Yeah but in those years, they actually played on the defensive end of the court. This team's not going far.

No Manu, no chance. The Mavs will sweep. Book it.

This fact really made me feel better. Remember when denver stole game 1 and we came back and won game 2 by 30 and it was never even close again.
