What a pathetic team to watch. Nobody giving an ounce of effort, the team has already resigned to their fate. They do not deserve the national spotlight.

Break this garbage squad up now.

I hope they get swept. I have all my VB riding on that.

They play with zero intensity at all. It just looks like they are going through the motions.

This team shouldn't even be in the PO's. Curry is the biggest moron, and his coaching is an embarrassment.

The players know Joe gave up on them and the season, and Stuck is choking hard.

I wish they could forefit as well.

There are plenty of other series to pay attention to.

This will be over quickly. Stop complaining about an uninteresting first round match-up.

That was amateur hour by the Detroit Pistons. Shame... They started the season pretty well.

Too bad the Bobcats or Pacers didnt make the playoffs instead of that garbage the Pistons rolled out there

What can anyone possibly expect out of this team? Their most talented player told the whole team to fuck off and that he wasn't going to play for them, and their bigmen know they're only salary cap slots to the Pistons. I'm surprised they didn't lose by 35.

That Billups - AI trade was brilliant :tu

There was bound to be one ass-kicking in the series. Hopefully that was the one; otherwise this could get real ugly.

Decent 1st half/pathetic 2nd half by the Pistons.

Well, they needed to do something to make people forget about the Darko pick!

Can/Will they ever call LBJ for travelling? (I know, a rhetorical question)

I was hoping the Bulls or Sixers would have finished in the 8th seed or even that the Bobcats would knock Detroit out but the Pistons got hot enough to get a run going that would give them a cushion as the fizzled come season's end. I hope they have fight left in them, but I give them less of a chance then the Jazz.

Well its too bad that Iverson is "injured", he could have helped them when they needed it.

its not that they suck, its the fact that it doesnt seem like they care. No hustle, no intensity.,.Pistons are just plain lazy.

It was a salary dump. We'll have to wait until the end of the summer to see if they land something decent to fully evaluate this trade.

How is that team going to believe in anything when they lose their best player and his replacement completely quits on the team? I'm not putting the blame anywhere but Iverson and his selfishness, because the rest of that core of Hamilton, Prince, Wallace, and McDyess has proved themselves as some of the toughest and hardest working players in the league for years. Iverson ruined that team the second he forced Hamilton to the bench with his crying.

no suprises here. salary dump is doing its job, decent draft pic and now 30 million left free for a post player. and they still have prince, hamilton and stuckey. now the kwame signing was trash

It's the 1-8 matchup, Gregory. It's a 66-win team against a 39-win team. What are you expecting? A barnburner? Just because it's Detroit?

$4M/year for a big body that can rebound and has six fouls to give? That's a fair deal there.

At least the Pistons lost to a team that's basically unbeatable at home...

... and at least the Pistons aren't the Miami Heat.

Still doesnt give the other guys an excuse to not put in effort.
