Why did Parker have a Pistons towel around his shoulders?

I don't I've ever seen that before.

I didn't get it either. Horry was sitting right next to him with a Spurs towel on, so it's not like the airline lost their towels, unless Horry packs his lucky towel with him. Show some team pride Tony!

I was wondering about the towels too...the majority of the Spurs team had Pistons towels on, not just Tony.

LOL. I did a double take when I saw that. I was like, did we trade Parker or something? But I think I saw a few of the other Spurs players (Manu?) also wearing Pistons towels. Spurs Mgt prolly just forgot to get ours washed or something :)

Is it naive of me to think maybe it was a small way of saying thanks to Davidson for flying Tim home?

Yeah, I guess so. The forgot-to-do-laundry theory is a better one. :lol

Washing towels...right.

Not in the NBA.

If players use brand new shoes every game, then I don't think they re-use towels.

I don't think they use brand new shoes every game. I hate using new shoes cuz u have to break them down....loosen them up..make them fit snuggly around ur feet.

I would rather use a shoe over and over

The home team supplies the towels at every game. Usually they are just white, but Detroit has Pistons' towels, so TP must have grabbed any towel he could find....you do not have to worry about TP wanting to be traded or anything, he is still a Spur.
