i know! that was a close one. we'd be screwed if we had Scola instead of Matt "The Savior" Bonner.

There were many here that said you can't count on Bonner when Bonner had his few good games, you were not one.

As worthless as Bonner has been....if you really think Pops is a better player, then you're fuckin retarded.

Why the fuck did we even trade Rasho for this shit? We could at least try to get someone better than Bonner for Rasho.

I would have taken Luis Scola, but that's just me.

I dont know why we didnt try to get Charlie V.

The Raptors traded him a month after they traded Bonner to us.

it doesn't make a difference..Bonner at the time was much more useful than Pops Mensah Bonsu..it was worth the risk of having a guy that could potentially space the offense, even if it hasn't worked..

Pops is a poor man's Drew Gooden..

I dont know why we didnt try to get Charlie V.

Because people with no eyebrows are fucking creepy.

Didn't Toronto get raked over the coals for reaching to pick that guy?

I absolutely agree, if it wasn't for Matt Bonner's atheletic abilities, keen defensive sense, and astrological vertical leap, How fucked would we be now? Pops over there in the D league, thank God he was picked up, was so slow, unatheletic and had the personality of Melba Toast, we are so much better off with Matt Bonner, and I heard that Pops is actually a natural Red Head, who would have known. We have a Boner in Bonner!
GO SPURS GO!

At this point, I would have played ANYONE over Boner.
Hell even Oberto over that dud!

Relax people, sooner or later the Mavs players will get tired of blowing by Bonner and then the Spurs can take advantage of them... But I think he will serve the Spurs better if he was to stand at midcourt instead of under the rim.

yeah, why waste the energy pretending to play defense. just hang out at midcourt.
