And I'm pretty sure Tim has a higher degree of pain tolerance.

But since he's Tim, I see Pop probably keeping him out 7-8 games.

Fine with me.

Rather be fresh for the playoffs, than the Grizzlies.

Spurs might win this week without Tim, but then there's Rockets, Sonics, @Nuggets. Losing those 3 would pretty much blow WCF HCA vs Suns.

These Spurs just aren't tough on the road, with or without Tim.

I predict Tim will be back by the next home game.

It was a good sign that Tim said the swelling was "already going down" when he was being taken to the plane.

Rasho's sprain was a second-degree one and Pop said he'd likely be out three weeks. If that holds true for Duncan, that means he'll only have like one week to get ready for the playoffs.

you can do whatever the fuck you want, but I suggest you leave your head up your ass, it's a good place to store your shit-for-brains.

That's a very scary thought. Tim being rusty in the playoffs= :nope Hopefully he'll only miss two-four games. That way he wont be rusty at all.

You are both about right, he missed eighteen days, which is between to and a half and three weeks, I believe he missed six games.

timvp didn't say that Rasho missed three weeks. He is saying that when it happened, Pop expected Rasho to missed three weeks. He was back 18 days after he got injured (as PM5K said) -- that's not too far off Pop's expectation.

Speaking as someone who has sprained the same ankle numerous times, of all grades, it eventually stops lingering. After a certain amount of times, when you roll it, it hurts like hell, and then goes away within minutes.

Probably doesn't speak too highly of the actual condition of my ankle, but maybe it's a silver lining in Tim's case.

I think Tim comes back against the rockets. All signs point to a fast recovery for Duncan. I don't think we have to worry about Tim being rusty in the playoffs.
