Thanks SDC. Tim seems ready to get back on the court. Hopefully the Spurs come out with crazy energy. Sometimes I feel that with all the talent in the NBA, the only difference in winning and losing is hustle/energy.

When the Spurs play with sustained energy, they are damn tough to beat.

He is. Losing leaves a bad taste in his mouth, the best way to get rid of it is to get back on the court where he can do something about it. He put in extra time after practice yesterday, everything I'm seeing from him points to a monster game tonight. :)

Come out with "crazy" energy and proceed to be worn down by the 4th quarter once again...

Wrong. The Spurs can play with energy, they just too often coast, especially in the 3rd quarter. They are terrible in 3rd quarters.

:wow Duncan never grants interviews on game days.

And :rolleyes @ Kurt Thomas hinting that the Mavs won because they shot well. The Spurs hit 11 of their first 12 three-pointers. The Mavs' win had more to do with players like Thomas not rebounding.

I was shocked too. He wants this game, I guess all bets are off.

Tim Duncan was roped into a post-workout interview session, and did it with a smile.

Thomas has a point though. He's citing a statistical anomaly which allowed the Mavs to win by less than 10. He's on to something.

Barea, Bass and Dampier went a combined 18-31 from the field. :wow

Throw in Wright for good measure and you have 21-34......

I'm more than ready to see a monster game from him tonight, especially if it results in a win.

The Spurs hitting 11-of-12 three-pointers while the game was still in doubt was much more of an anomaly than four Mavs shooting 60% on open shots. And it's not even close.

I'd bet that the Spurs have another hot shooting night from three long before we see another hot shooting night from those four at the same time again......

More importantly, it would seem that Pop is too.

Those four shot 15-26 against the Spurs and actually combined for more points than they did in Game 1. On the other hand, hitting 11 of their first 12 three-pointers was a franchise record for the Spurs.
