I agree. His passing and his backdoor cuts would dissect them. But he'd be a liability on the defensive end if he's rusty.

That would be a good counter for the zone.
Yeah, Oberto at the high post elbow has always worked well when he has the ball, and he flashes from weak to strong side baseline well for little reverse chippies. He also gets a lot of offensive tapouts when the opposition plays zone because it is harder to stay responsible for your man.

Any good his passing might do on offense will be negated and then some by his rust and liability on defense. He's out of the rotation for the playoffs - he just hasn't gotten enough time leading up to them.
Who needs to get in the rotation is Hill. No fucking way you can tell me Hill can't do a better job with the backup point and defending Barea than Mason has done. It's inexplicable just how far Pop will go not to play the rookie.

IMO, that's Pop's biggest flaw. He learned that from Larry Brown.
