News @ Nine just showed video of Duncan arriving in SA at about 8. He was walking gingerly with crutches. Not hopping on one foot.

Also, he drove himself home.

:elephant ?

Driving with a sprained ankle doesn't hurt too bad.

Well, that sounds good, but I'm still holding my breath. And, I hope he drove himself to the hospital, not home. :)

If the ankle is really truly bad, then driving with a sprained ankle hurt like shit.

I've had to get people to drive me home from a game I've been playing in because of sprained ankles.

Geez the man's not a parapelegic, he may have sprained his ankle and it probably hurt some driving but it doesn't mean it's not serious.

This is Tim Duncan we are talking about, if he felt that driving was really hurting him he would not drive home, I'm sure the Spurs would not let him. Bad sprained ankles can stop you from driving comfortably.

No, I am saying he is the most important part of an organization worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and that organization is not going to let him be in severe pain by driving himself home. The ankle can't be really bad (bad like 4/5 weeks bad) if they let him drive himself home, because a bad ankle hurts when driving.

Fuck.

It's obviously a good sign that he was walking and then driving home. It's better than seeing him in a wheelchair :wow like we saw right after the injury. I think we should have a vbookie to guess which game he will return in.

He's OK but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to rest it
