On why Pop just walked away. I only saw the preview... haven't seen the actual news report yet, but wtf?

Well you certainly won't get my take because I have NO idea what you are talking about.

I'm going to take a wild guess. A reporter asked him a question that pissed him off.

Sequ is a reporter?

Reporter after the game asked Pop:

Reporter: They have said he is day to day, does that change your plan-

Reporter: Who's "day to day?"

Reporter: Tim.

Pop walks off with a bewildered look on his face.

Reporter (OS): Nice answer.

He would have hit Sequ. Either that or not seen him.

Oh, sorry... newbie stupidity. :)

Saw a preview on woai of tonight's sports report. They showed Pop standing there doing (or perhaps about to do) his post-game interview and someone said, "They're saying he's day to day..." Pop said "Who's day to day?" and the guy said, "They're saying Duncan's day to day..." And Pop just sort of rolled his eyes ad walked off.

Was it because nobody said he's day to day--it's a grade 2?

Was it because anybody who SAW the injury knows there's no way he's missing fewer than 3 games?

Did he think it was an insensitive/stupid question?

That really was a damn stupid question, there is no way he is day to day, they play again Monday....

I'm sure why the reporter said he's day-to-day is because that's what is being said everywhere.

It's in the AP story.

The Spurs said X-rays were negative and Duncan is day to day.

As to why Pop walked off, I'm not sure. I'd have to see the interview.

Sometimes Pop is an asshole....and it's seriously annoying.

He was getting emotional thinking about Tim missing the rest of the season and getting his butt fired...

nah, didn't see it, so I dunno.

Pop was probably frustrated because he had just said that it was "going to be a while" and that Duncan was going to miss at least the rest of the road trip. So he probably thought it was a stupid question to ask about day-to-day.

Sometimes reporters are dumbasses...and that's gotta be seriously annoying, too.

Maybe he got mad bc the reporter said he was day-to-day and Pop is the one that should be making that decision/comment.

The reporter went over his helmet.

To me it seemed that reporter's an idiot. Pop already had said "it's gonna be a while". But yes, Pop has no patience and always looks pissed :flipoff
