Spurs can regroup
Spurs can still play vintage defense
Bonner can respond
Pop remembers Hill is on the team
Gooden can be a legit low-post threat
Tony Parker can walk on water and turn water into wine

Was that in 2006 that Dirk had 20+ FTA, and the Mavs had like 40 in the game?

we already knew all of this..

-when Bowen plays big minutes, we can still play great D..

-Tony Parker is unstoppable..

-Duncan elevates his game in the playoffs, as he showed overall in game 1, and as he showed with his defense tonight..

-the Mavs don't look so great when they stop getting calls in their favor..they get soft..

A little extra Bowen and the defense controlled the game. Nice to see some classic D and a constant flow of offense. Gooden did a good job on the boards and is an offensive threat. Kudos to Bonner for showing a lot of heart and hitting some big 3s. Hopefully, this is the start of Bonner and Gooden filling in for the points we miss with Manu on the bench.

Boxing out and hustling your rear ends off makes things so much easier. That's what the Spurs learned.

Eric Dampier is NOT an All-Star...

Yeah, but there was a reason he was the first one to know where the ball was coming off the rim...

Pretty good game though. I hope Mason starts shooting more often and Hill gets some actual minutes vs. Barea or Terry.

Great game. The world is right again. I can listen to sportstalk radio and watch sports on tv again.. But I still would rather see boner come off the bench.

lol, I do the same thing when the Spurs lose. I don't want to have anything to do with espn, sportstalk radio or anything else.

Great win tonight, though.....that looked like the 2005 team (excepting Manu's presence of course....)

As TampaDude said, it's better to win than to lose in the playoffs, especially by 20+!
