The Spurs can still win this series, as they're a good road team....and the Mavs are well-known chokers.

Like I said in another thread... Parker played the game of his life, and the entire Spurs team was hitting just about anything they shot, while the Mavericks couldn't hit a shot to save their lives, and Dirk was total garbage. Yet, until later in the 4th, the Mavs were still able to keep the score within a reasonable range. This is not a trend that will likely continue, especially going to Dallas now. Dallas took HCA and still have the upper hand in this series. This is not going to be an easy series for either team, especially the Spurs as some fans around here are expecting them to win 4 straight, with the team playing as well as they did last night in each game. Not going to happen.

Not really. He matched his average for the season against the Mavs.
If you want to know what Tony looks like playing the game of his life, you can ask Minnesota fans.

shooting 16-22 and getting 38 points is his average?

um, no.

he played his ass off, and no one can deny that. performances like that are not something to expect on a regular basis.

easy beat downs for the Spurs from here on out. Spurs in 5. everyone knows game 1 was a fluke.

read again. he said vs. the Mavs. Parker averages about 32ppg vs. the Mavs. so it's pretty close.

another thing, Parker can easily do this every other game vs. the pathetic mav defense. So all it takes is 1 great game for Duncan and it's game over for the Mavs

i did read that. 6-7 points is a big difference. averaging 10 ppg and 16-17 ppg are very noticable differences.

Feb 24: 37 points
Mar 04: 37 points

That's his last two games against Dallas in the regular season.
So, yeah, I would say he matched his average. :hat
