Every year since 2004, at least one team in the playoffs has blown a 2-0 lead in a best of 7 series. I figure that there's got to be one team that's gonna do it this year to keep the streak alive.
Here are the teams that have blown 2-0 leads since 2004.
2004 - Spurs did it against the Lakers in the 2nd round.
2005 - Rockets did it against the Mavs in the 1st round. Bulls did it against the Wizards in the 1st round also.
2006 - Mavs did it against the Heat in the Finals.
2007 - Rockets and TMAC choke again in the 1st round against the Jazz. The Pistons did it against the Cavs in the 2007 ECF.
2008 - Chris Paul chokes on the Spurs' dick in the 1st round.
TMAC has been on teams that have blown a 2-0 lead twice and a 3-1 lead once in the playoffs in his career.
I think that's all the teams that have kept the streak alive since 2004. So who's gonna be the team that blows a 2-0 lead this year?
