J.C. is moron. Timmy told me some bad things about that fuck when we two were shooting the Adidas commercial.

I see this as bad for both teams, nothing good can come from Joey but headaches for fans of Mavs and Spurs

I wonder what Mavs fans truly thing about the situation? Are you happy to see this? Mad? Do you think it favors one team or have no effect?

I'm not a Mavs fan but if Crawford throws Duncan out of the game for no reason again I'd have to imagine it will have an affect.

Seriously though, how does Stern let Crawford do Spurs games when time and time again he fucks them over, I don't get it, Stern hates the Spurs is the only conclusion I can come to.

well most Mav fans probably will call us pussies for crying about it. they might be partly right.

but when a ref throws out your franchise player for laughing on the bench and then challenges him to a fight. AND refuses to apologize about it. AND gets his job back AND gets assigned to a crucial playoff Spurs game... fuck that. NBA is a joke

It can't hurt, but we'll see what Mavs team comes out tonight. If they use their home court advantage, attack the hoop and toughen up on defense I guess the Crawford-Rush bullshit can only help. I still think the Mavs have enough to beat the Spurs without the aid of 2 iffy refs, but they only show up to play when they feel like it.

I agree the Mavs have more than enough to beat the Spurs. I have been saying this all along. It is going to take a supreme effort on the defensive end to win in Dallas tonight for SA.

Get ready for b*tch mode however. I promise I will not be a part of it. If it is really bad, I will give my 2 cents, but I won't complain the entire game or afterward for 3 days.

I think it speaks volumes as to the legitimacy of Joey Crawford's officiating when, despite his reputation for being a homer for the home team, Dallas fans still think this is a horrible thing.

Crawford should never work in professional sports again. I wish the pro sports franchises would start listening to the fans instead of defending their officials to the death to the point of denying that they make anything more than an occasional mistake. This guy is a headache nearly every time he officiates a Spurs game, and I can guarantee there will be some blatantly horrible calls tonight, both for and against the Spurs (mostly against).

This sucks.

Can we make a deal? If Spurs win tonight, Spurs fans can't cry about Crawford anymore.

Where do I sign?

And we'll add a twist to it: If Dirk shoots over 40 free throws and Dallas wins, Mav fans can't talk trash. Deal?

Why would anyone be surprised? Joey Crawford wasn't fired, therefore the NBA is going to do ref assignments the same way they always have, and his name is going to come up to work one or two Spurs playoff games a year. This isn't FIBA; a team can play well enough to overcome the officiating.

Even Salvatore couldn't give Dirk 40 FTs.... but I bet he gets 15-25 tonight.
