After Nash got hurt earlier this year alot people claimed it showed how valuable he was to his team. But the spurs with a healthy duncan for the whole game have only lost what... 9-10 games, and we really dont hear that same MVP talk that we got for nash earlier in the year.

Take Garnett off of the T-wolves and see how well they do....take any said superstar off any team and they struggle. Granted TD is an MVP candidate, but it shouldn't matter on how the team does sans the player or not.

Let's see, they're a lotto team, and they'd STILL be a lotto team. :lol

Take Garnet off the T-wolves and they are in the lottery...

Put him back on... they are in the lottery...

What's your point?

Spurs have only lost around 9 games in which duncan has played and not gotten hurt

I'm not worried about the MVP status...who cares.

I want TD healthy when the Playoffs start.

Nash or whoever else can have the MVP-- we want something bigger!

couldn't agree w/ you more. However it won't happen. Too much hype surrounded the Suns and Heat.

well this team is made to allow TD to perform ...
that's what you do when you have such a talented player in your roster...
for Nash its a bit different IMO because he went to Phx and bang they win...
he's hurt and then they start losing again...
my point is that the spurs were made around duncan... Phx didn't build around Nash in the past few years...
here's my opinion i already posted it(in another thread) so a quote will be fine

I think Tim will have missed too many games to be MVP.

Tim getting MVP is way below the priority of salvaging the next 4 weeks.

Pop, Pop's "system", Manu, Tony, etc, are gonna look like a bunch of fakers hiding behind the smoke and mirrors of Tim if the Spurs can't play at least .500 ball the rest of the way.
