well if your calling out tony why stop there? lets be fair and call out TD!! Finley! Boner! Gooden! and just about every single player on the spurs for shooting 30 percent. Tony had a tough game but he could've gone off for 30 and we'd still of lost because every else was so shit. So seriously this game was just doomed. We have to have td do a little better than 2-9, we have to have all the supporting players not end up like 0-30! We can't shoot what was it 2-14 from 3. Shots weren't going, and that effected everyones effort it was just a nasty game. DWill on the other hand hand some very good performances from his other players-like boozer, harpring, korver, brewer. It's a Team game and he hit a big shot when they needed it. The game was close so he could.....spurs mavs game 3 was a totally diff game.

everyone always claims Williams is a better PG, but Tony has constantly outperformed him.

everyone always claims Williams is a better PG, but Tony has constantly outperformed him.

it's not the time to rank players, PG or useless stuff like this.

The fact is that the Jazz can afford to have a 3-7 shooting night from D-Will and still win.

LA can afford a 5-24 shooting night from Kobe and still have the game lost by 2 and decided on the last possession.

Where would the spurs be with that kind of numbers from Tony right now ? well, see G3. Good for Tony if he's establishing himself as a superstar. but in order to win, the spurs need Tim able to score 20 and role players buying some baskets.

Look at the overall offensive production outside Tony in these three first PO games, and you will be scared. and even tony had one decent game and one poor game out of three. that's how a poor offensive team we've looked so far in these PO. Tony's outstanding performance hid it a little bit in G2.

We firstly need to be the defensive force we used to, but a little bit more of offense would be useful i guess.

Call out directly Ducks if you intend to do so.
Williams wasn't that great either.
We sucked. Each and every member of our team.

I think the thread starter was being tongue-in-cheek towards Ducks' thread bashing Tim.
This was the first loss that i can honestly say was a true team effort.

I don't know why anyone is getting defensive about Tony. :lol It's already understood that he's immune this series after his game 2 performance.

For the record, this was in response to ducks "duncan look at boozer" thread.

I have no issues with Parker in this series. Hopefully he'll bounce back (along with the rest of the team) for game 4

Tony is not a true franchise player. He's a superstar kinda like Tracy Mcgrady.

Either Duncan takes us to the next round or we lose. period.

well, till now, the only game won by our team in this serie was the one where Tony exploded in G2. when he was average on G1 with Tim having a good game, we lost. seems tony performance matters a little more than you think.

what????? -31 team worst .

i'm happy to learn thanks to this amazing stat that is -/+ that Jacques Vaughn (+12), Georges Hill (2-10 FG and +6) and Gooden (2-12 FG and +6) were our best players in game 3.

it didn't look like that seeing the game.

I wouldn't go as far and say Tony could be a tremendous franchise player but hey give me a full payroll (not minus Manu 10M) to compliment him and I'm pretty sure you would get some serious contender.

On the Tim part, I'd say Tony and Tim takes us to the next round or we lose. period.

utah NEVER QUIT even when the lakers were taking over in the 3rd...williams and the jazz kept pushing and played with heart even though half their guys were sucking, and ended up pulling out the game on several clutch, gutsy plays.

had that been the spurs, as soon as the lakers had gone up by 10 they would have packed it in.

What else..... I forgot that for Tony homers BBall is all about FGs and scoring right?

Whatever … you said he was the best player yesterday…. Wrong he wasn’t … he has been the best spur player the whole season but not yesterday….

What a waste of time is trying to explain something to a blind homer.

Tony didn't play an amazing game but not a single spur did. Trying to prove your point by just bringing the plus/minus stat to rate a player performance upon a single game is just a testimony of how much of a bball genius you are.
You're a joke.

well, i have really no problem to say he had a bad game yesterday. without a doubt.
but i said he was still the best spur to show how much we sucked.
let's say he was one of the less pathetic spurs if you want.

but everything you bring, including this -/+ stat shows that you're trolling. i still think you're less dumb than that, so that must be trolling. unless you really think Hill, JV and Gooden were our best players yesterday.

My boy is every player on the team. That's all you found? So yeah not worth going farther.
Showing a poster why he's wrong is something interesting but bashing for free based on crap is just making yourself look like a fool and just taking away all the credibility you can have. Just a friendly tip :toast.

Like I said. Do you consider TMac a franchise player on his best years in HOuston? I don't because he can't carry his team to win a playoff series. Same goes for Tony.
