Will Pop change the starting lineup for game 4?

Does Finley sit and Bowen start?

What if Dallas starts JJ again?

What adjustments will be made?

pop does not make adjustments. he does not coach.

utah needed more defense so SLoan put Kirilinko in the starting lineup. result? lakers finally have a slow start, utah has a strong one and wins the game.

dallas needed more offense after their game 2 defeat so they put Barea in the starting lineup. result? high-scoring start, win the game.

spurs need more defense to set the tone. what does pop do? keep the same shitty starting lineup. result? we lose. repeat x1000

Dont be so harsh on Pop. With this current roster of scrubs. Noone could win against a superior team.

i would have to agree. Pop seems to make adjustment only when he is the one deciding it. Never when reacting to an opponent strategy.

Could be a good thing when you have a dominating team that dictates his own law on the court. Could be dangerous stubbornness when you have a team needing every move possible to handle a victory.

The way they all played, Pop should bench all the starters.

pops answer to stopping an early dallas offensive will be

parker
mason
finley
BONNER
duncan

the same defense-less, stubborn starting lineup he has used since march despite being enormously retarded. oh and in order to counter barea he will keep hill on the bench and completely waste mason by using his as the inadequate backup PG.

Your pretty crazy if you think Pop will actually change anything. Pop has his flawless system(in his mind), and he would rather die by it then try to adjust it.

No, that waste TP's energy.

who knows what Pop will do...i doubt if he changes the lineup. this team has no identity now. it's not a defensive team that can get stops anymore. it's not a team that can outscore you...the Spurs are trapped somewhere in between.

No, that waste TP's energy.

Agreed. Putting your top offensive player to chase around a high energy player is not ideal.

Finley averages in double figures and you already want him benched? What is Bruce's point-per-game average?

I would not change a thing. Every game we play this line-up means there is less adjusting to do.

Pop knows what he is doing. Our record for a number of years shows it.

The only change would be to start Bowen.

It doesn't matter if he replaces Finley or Mason as either one plays defense.

I hope he puts bowen in and plays bonner off the bench. He isn't doing enough to be starting.

I'd like to see:

Parker
Hill
Bowen
Duncan
Thomas

Gooden + Mason off the bench with Finley. LMAO, not gonna happen though.

Trade Bonner for kobe and Lebron next year. There I said it before someone else says it.

startin in game 4 should be Parker, Duncan, Bowen, Finley, and Mason.

Since pop took the starters off the bench earlier yesterday they should be rested enough for us not to worry bout how its going to effect their performance.

Game 4 is going to be a great game...spurs are gonna win then when they come back to san antonio its going to be on!.

as for the guy below me, I really wouldnt like Lebron or Kobe with the spurs, we have won 4 rings without them why want them now? =)

I think Pop should start KT over Bonner.

Pop only makes adjustments when he has a vastly superior team. When the team actually needs an adjustment to survive, standing pat makes you look wise.

Parker, Mason, Bowen, Duncan and Gooden should be the starting lineup from here on out.

Put Parker on Barrea.

Sounds like it would work because Parker is fast but it didnt really work well in game 3.

IF Bowen started who would guard terry? he would start to be a factor in this series.

Mason was guarding Barea in game 3. Parker was guarding Kidd. Mason wasn't actually defending, he was just escorting Barea through the lane.

Game 4 who starts and who sits?

The starting lineup should be: Tim/Gooden/Bowen/Finley/Parker, but I doubt Pop will change anything.

Why do you say that? What does Bonner really bring to you guys? Spacing the floor? I don't think he'll typically hit enough 3's to outweigh his atrocious play..

I totally agree with this! Finley and KT coming off bench with bonner and udoka used to a lesser extent.

If you'd said "Gooden" or "Oberto" I'd be right there with you. Nobody's been worse than KT.

I can't understand for the life of me why Drew Gooden doesn't play 35 mpg. He and Mason are easily the 3rd/4th best Spurs.
