Pop punished his team by taking them to dinner, on him, to one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Of course he did it so he could make his point to them all.

Maybe he should have gone all Denny Green on the podium.

I think the whole roster knows that their season wont end in bling-- it's just a question of how to get better for next season

if tim/tony play like last night, the whole roster will be questioning how to get out of san antonio.

Pop's point is that he's got his players backs. He is like a father to them

I don't think fasting is going to help the team at this point. They still gotta eat.

The majority of the Spurs players are too old for Pop to lecture.
They know what they did wrong and you can't linger the lost forever, There's still Saturday's
game so I guess that's Pop's way of trying to forget it.
Right now is not the time to be pointing fingers, the spurs have to come together and rally by trying to win game 4.
Otherwise, history might repeat itself with the spurs being down 1-3.

I heard Hill ordered lobster and Pop made him pay for it himself.

Did Pop walk out during the second course?

That'll teach them.

a true coach would have treated the team to hookers

Of course they will. They already hit rock bottom. Nowhere else to go but up.

Good move by Pop. The Spurs are veteran enough that they know they have to bring better energy. What Pop has to fight against is the team fracturing and giving up on each other. The chemistry when things got tough didn't look too good. Yelling at them or punishing them is pointless because they're smart enough to know what happened.

He should have taken them to KFC for Famous Bowls.

Well, if he took them out to Arby's, I guess it's punishment enough

As far as I'm concerned, the whole roster can get out except for Tim and Tony.
