No one in New Orleans expected to win a game after two blowouts, especially after being down 22-6 in the 1st. The last month, the team has been mediocre and really bad against Western playoff teams with the exception of the injury-plagued Spurs.

The defense improved somewhat. We didn't do anything special except close off the lane. Denver decided to settle for jumpshots. Carmelo and JR had subpar games. Nene is lifeless and Billups was human today.

West and Peja are making some plays defensively, but overall have had a negative effect. We need more from them. Otherwise play guys like Marks and Posey.

Chandler is definitely on his last legs this season and only helps by using his long arms. He won't be a double-double guy like last season.

Marks and Posey brought alot of production off the bench and Butler hit some big shots. These three need to be in the game for the majority of minutes instead of Chandler and Peja.

I team like the Lakers or Cleveland would have put this game away early. Denver has talent, but not good enough to sweep a playoff team.
