When you stand on the perimeter and shoot jump shots all day long, you aren't going to get calls. Roy was the only one attacking and thus the only one getting calls. This isn't fucking rocket science.

Oden's one and only offensive move is an offensive foul. LOL. dude's nickname should be 6 fouls.
blazers needed incredible games from Roy and Aldridge to beat houston in portland... you really expect them to repeat that for 3 more games?

I am a Mavs fan, and I will admit that the only one complaining about more calls should be Yao.

The thing with the Blazers is that while they are young, I am unsure how good they are. People sometime get over-exited about a young team because they think that the players will improve exponentially throughout the years but does that often is not true. Most players are at 23-24 as good as they will ever be and this might be the case for many of the Blazers. Roy is really good, and he will improve, yet tonight he played as good as you might expect and the Blazers still lost. Unless Oden really turns into a game changer really soon or they make a Rasheed Wallace type trade, this Blazers team will resemble the early 90s and early 2000s teams, with a lot of good players, not enough great ones, and eventually just a tad below a championship team. The writing is on the wall for me on this.

Rockets 22 - 6 for the intentional fouls = 16 FT's

They never were though. The Blazers only claim to fame was the Lakers inability to beat them in the Rose garden, just like with Utah. Yet last year as well as this the Lakers took a game there. It was gonna happen with the Blazers as well.

Fact of the matter is the Lakers were going to breeze past everybody in the West. 2-9 all the teams were really average this year. And with KG being out the Cavs will do the same in the East. The Finals are set man, all of this is just a rehersal to get there.

I saw a old Lakers team that had more drama and story lines going on the side than every WWE pay-per-view event combined......seriously that team fucking hated eachother :lol (well mostly everybody hated Kobe....and Payton hated Kobe and the triangle)

This Lakers team isn't remotely close to that....Very talented "teams" win championships, that was just a very talented roster...not a team.

Never bought that argument. That Lakers non-team was good enough to make it all the way to the NBA finals, beating a championship Spurs team and the Timberwolves who had the best record in the league that year. The way some people describe the in-team hate that Lakers squad had for each other, you'd think they would have lost in the first round.

At any rate, that wasn't my point. My point was to say what is "likely" or "expected" in the playoffs doesn't always happen. Just because many expect Lakers-Cavs in the finals, it doesn't mean it will actually happen. That's the point.
