We have had many posts and people say since TAU stopped pay for name sponsor that the club has "financial problem" and "cannot keep Splitter" and "will need buyout money now from Spurs". As I tell over and over this is complete bull shit and just more total nonsense.
Sure maybe Splitter will sudden want to come to NBA and pay his buyout and leave but club has no financial trouble.
They just sign Rockets NBA draft pick Lior Eliyahu to 3 years contract at €3 million euros net salary. This is equal to 3 years $7.8 million NBA salary.
Also they just sign former NBA player John Lucas III to contract and is rumor around €500,000 euros net per year. This is equal to like $1.3 million per year NBA contract. They also say they will try to sign another wing player and they also want a certain level player for this also.
So if they have so much "financial troubles" how the fuck they can do this? Maccabi is one of biggest Euroleague clubs and could not afford to match Eliyahu contract and lose him.
