Regression to the mean. A team w/ Peja/Chandler/West in the starting lineup and no bench has no business winning 56 games.

thats an understatement, i played PG on my varsity squad this year and i can tell you that most people would be able to get get it up and down the court without turning it over. Their heads just weren't right today. I feel for NO, i really like that team a lot.

what this shows is that you can't build a Championship-caliber team around a PG, even if he is the best in the league.

It's hard for me to clown on this Hornet team after the Lakers lost by 40+ in a closeout game in last year's Finals.

Shit happens. Spur fan should not talk smack either IMHO, 2001 playoffs. They hold the record for worst overall beatdown in a WCF series EVER.

Every franchise has their share of shitty losses.

If you're going to revel in another franchise's failures be enough to recognize that your own franchise has some nasty egg on its face as well. Do you want me to post the boxscores of the 2001 WCF?

I'll give you a hint. It's NOT pretty. We're talking about a team that went #1 in the WC getting beat down worse than any other team in NBA history. That is an epic failure that completely overshadows this loss by the Hornets.

Still, I don't see how this is comparable to the 55+ beat down by the Nuggets tonight...

The Spurs got beat down FOR AN ENTIRE SERIES.

In last year's Finals LAL got outplayed badly in only one game. The rest were all pretty close. That's a huge difference.

The bottom line is the Spur's didn't even win a game, at least the Hornets won a game and the Lakers won 2 last year. The Spurs were also the #1 team in the league with the best record.

This is fun owning pathetic Spurs fans whose team is about to get bounced by the fucking Mavs.

Yep. And actually, he was 6'9" 255 lbs according to nba.com (although the weight may have been his comeback weight?).
