They are WAY too complacent. They're good and they know it, which can backfire. I'm not saying we'll take 'em out but playing with your prey before killing them will catch up to you eventually.

did you say that last year about boston
going 7 games against the hawks

Their problem is they can't hold concentration against bad teams.

Thus far against GOOD teams they've managed not to blow leads like this. One can only hope that holds up, otherwise this team is in for a rude awakening.

I said something similar in the other thread about Boston looking very vulnerable last year in the first couple rounds.

Better prepare yourself then.

Lakers bench.

When things are more serious, I don't see Phil riding the bench for that long.

They might also be just a little nervous. I would be more concerned if they do this kind of shit in the next few rounds. Especially if they actually lose a game or two because of it.

This is the lakers solution for the finals.

1. Play like shit through half time.
2. Play amazing during the second half, whilst coming back from down 10.
3. ???
4. Win game

No need for that BS 24 point leads

Nono is correct.

If the Lakers start doing this against GOOD teams it's definitely time to start worrying.

who cares..they lose leads when they are up by 20. A win is a win.

They won't be complacent playing against the Cavs in the finals.

I can't wait to expose some more defensive weaknesses and overconfidence from the lakers..............

Again, I hate the fucking Fakers but if you look at it, the Lakers are a terrible matchup against the Cavs. The latter's bigs are slow, short, and pretty limited despite of their amazing defense. The Lakers on the other hand, have the most mobile bigs I've seen. The Lakers are just lazy sometimes but when they step on the gas, LeCrab will be in trouble

:lol Utah never had a chance to win so who gives a shit. If Phil played lamar, pau, & trevor 5 more minutes each they would of won by 30. I can care less right now. If they win & save their energy thats all that matters in the 1st round.

the only game they blew was game 3 when they had that 13 point lead but that was in Utah so its understandable. If they actually blow a lead & lose one at home then ill be concerned.

No way LA doesn't win the title. Their competition is injured. LA is maybe the surest title bet since the 97 Bulls.

You guys are right. The lakers are imperfect.

But will still win the championship.

The Lakers have some serious flaws but their sheer talent and cohesion masks it for the most part.

In any other NBA year I could see them screwing up (if teams like BOS, ORL and SAS) were healthy. Fortunately for the Lakers, it's one of those years where they were able to stay relatively healthy while other haven't. I don't see any team posing much a threat to them, unless we saw CIA Brown in the regular season.

They were playing against a banged up Jazz squad with a star PF who has a tendency to quit and a coach who, when faced with adversity, panics.

Lakers are fine for now. But there are 3 squads playing some very nice ball and will test the Lakers.

Lakers are supposed to take it easy: They are the 1, the Jazz are the 8.

The Lakers will make it to the Finals, but there's no way they beat the Cavs.

The Lakers would beat them. LeBron is better than Kobe in my oipinion but Lakers are strong and will even be stronger by finals time.

I guess I may have been on to something, though LA technically can still win the title.
