I am very much so and it showed big time in the play offs how bad of a center he is.

What performance? He might as well have bought a ticket to the game. He belongs on the bench of a D-League team...

many of us mentioned that we needed to wait for Bonner performance at the playoffs, his play during regular seasson didnt assure an strong mentality at all.....:(
Unfortunately he shows us not to be ready for this, and honestly i think he will never be.

A lot more than what he's done. He's a damn starter.

Nonsense. He is easily the equal to Luis Scola and is a perfect replacement for Robert Horry.

That's two postseason flops in a row for Bonner. Personally, I"ve seen enough of him. He no longer warrants a position on this team. If he lasts until next season, I don't know how his teammates can ever view him as nothing more than a below average player.

I blame Pop because he was the talent evaluator here. He decided that Bonner would be the adequate Horry replacement. Bonner isn't even a good Danny Ferry replacement.

Nobody not named Bowen, Hill, Parker or Duncan helped this squad. Everyone else was already in Cancun.

I actually feel kind of bad for Bonner. If given spot minutes off the bench, I feel like he might have a good place on the spurs; a hustler, a big to stretch the defense on occassion... But this guy should not be starting for a contending team. He was put in place to fail IMO, being a starter and getting over 20 mpg, that's just not Bonner. A near 50% three point percentage in the regular season doesn't mean shit come the playoffs, when all you are is three point shooting. There has to be more to your game than that, to be starting next to the GOAT PF every fucking game. That guy is not Robert Horry by any means.

Nonsense. He is easily a great replacement for Robert Horry's toughness and clutch outside shooting.

MVP for the other team.

Today better have been the last time he EVER starts or plays big minutes for this team. He can play a few minutes here and there if we are winning by a lot...but this guy in the starting line up is not a championship lineup

I hope to God Bonner is gone this offseason, along with Udoka, Vaughn(maybe a coach?), and Oberto. I can live with keeping Finley if it's in a lesser role.

Disappointed in Pop for his damn ass coaching.
1. Starting Bonner
2. Keeping Finley
3. Not trusting Hill in the playoffs
4. Keeping the youth movement in the D League and Europe
5. Ridding ourself of athleticism - Pops.
6. Not using Gooden Consistently.
7. Starting Bonner (deserves two entries)
8. Consistently stupid substitutions.
9. Making Mason a point guard.
10. Giving up too early on Bowen.
11. Scola!
12. and finally once again.....Bonner!

POP you blew it!!

Before the game, I was online looking into a 25 game package for next season. Went to the game and made a vow to myself. I will not spend one more cent of my money on anything Spurs related as long as Matt Bonner is either A) starting or B) avg 20+ minutes a game. It's become very clear to me that we have no voice on this team this year so I'm gonna do my part to hopefully get their attention. I'm not saying they need to make b-ball decisions based on fan wants but at least addressing huge topics all season would be nice. This was easily the most frustrating season I've ever followed and I've been a Spurs fan all my life. :bang

Matt the NBA player needs to have the same role Brian Scalabrine has in Boston. Buried deep in the bench, basically being the human victory cigar. He might be useful for certain games, so if he wants to stay, you leave him warming up the bench until you need him.
But no more of this starting C and 30+ mpg.

Matt did his thing in the regular season, but obviously broke under pressure. Pop should have found someone his to take his minutes instead of keeping him out there.

Matt Bonner played well during reg season, no denying that. But he is a 1 Dimensional player... Matt Bonner would bot be starting on the worst team in the leaque OK thunder. So why is he a starter on a championship contending team.. Where's the logic, obviously thunder are smart enough they would not to start him, why arent we...
Raptors got rid of him he wasnt a starter back then either!!!!!!!!!!

Matt Bonner should be nothing more than the token white guy on the team sitting at the end of the bench.

as we speak Bonner is in thailand sharing a hot tub with Pop and jaque vaughn, wearing only a thong and together sharing a strawberry mango daqueri.

Bonner isn't a starter and he's not clutch. But out of the bunch that Pop had to pick from: Kurt Thomas, Oberto, or Bonner...it's pretty obvious why he decided to go with Bonner.

Oh well, live and learn.

I am most disapointed in Michael Finley and Pop's continuing insistence that he play big, critical game minutes, despite being the worst liability on the floor for the Spurs. Alwyas a head scratcher when I see Finley in the game for more than 10 minutes.

Quick change in topic.. But why didnt Gooden play last night. Dont say it was because of his defense.. Last night not much defense was played, and he wasnt even in the game

Explain to me, was he injured or something or just another example of of lame ass coach POP poor coaching ability....

I wouldnt let coach "POP" coach my sons middle school team..........

RMJ gets blame in this as well he was just as big of a NO SHOW as Bonner. Didnt run the point effective, no pts, nor got assists, no steals, no rebounds. Pit-a-full..... RMJ had a half way descent game along with bonner back in game 2. thats it for the rest of the series....

Nonsense. He is easily the equal to Luis Scola and is a perfect replacement for Robert Horry.

I thought there was no way Scola could play with Duncan due to their styles of play, or there was no way they could be on the court at the same time.

That is what we heard from Pop and Blufford.
