Don't kill the messenger...but...

The Spurs lost in the first round for the first time since 2000, and the Pistons lost in the first round after making six consecutive conference final appearances, so its safe to say change is coming to both teams. For the Spurs, it may come in the way of a former Piston. The NY Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/28/sports/basketball/28dribble.html?ref=sports)reports this morning Rasheed Wallace could draw some strong interest by San Antonio. The Spurs would not be able to offer Wallace anything more than the veterans mid-level exception this summer, but there are not too many teams that will be able to offer Sheed the ability to come into a team ready-made for a title run. A potential front line consisting of Tim Duncan and Rasheed Wallace would make teams out West think twice about doubling either.
Another team that is expected to show interest is the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Detroit News reports (http://www.detnews.com/article/20090429/OPINION03/904290371/1127/rss13) that GM Danny Ferry would love to add another big man who can shoot, and Wallace’s range along with experience in big games would be a fit. Stay tuned….

If you've got anyone better than Rasheed who is under 30 and affordable like he is, I'm all ears.......

But we can develop young players like Ian. Wallace rebounded only 7.4 per game in 32 minutes. I'm sure Ian can rebound more if he's healthy. And we have Bonner who can shoot 3pts, KT who can defend. I see no reason to sign damn old "3pt shooter" Wallace.
P.S. Compare Kidd and Parker.
