On the day they cleaned their paraphernalia and personal items out of the Utah Jazz locker room, both Carlos Boozer and Paul Millsap declared they hope to return to play in EnergySolutions Arena next season.

And, yes, they want to do that as Jazz players again.

"I do want to stay here," Boozer said. "I want to be in Utah. I want to play for the Jazz. I made that loud and clear from Day 1."

So, do you think he bought a house in Detroit yet, or is he still looking around?

Dumars might be going after Bosh instead of Boozer, which would make sense

Boozer will go joining whoever gives him most.

Please be true.

Of course, the Boozer translation: "I realize there's no way I'm going to get anywhere close to a max deal this summer in this economy and with teams saving up for 2010, so I might as well pick up my option for a salary I'm not worth anyway and hope some dumb and disappointed GM that didn't land one of the real real major 2010 free agents acts stupid off the rebound and offers me a ridiculous contract I'm not worth."

Actually....this might sound EXTREMELY surprising but i don't this year. After you guys lost to LA i didn't even have this feeling of happiness inside. It was nothing. I was being sarcastic, i think you guys deserve better and that he is the sad lazy fuck on your team that eats at the salary cap like mcgrady is to us. Nip the growth at the bud, in other words, there is NO way they will resign him.

:lol He changed his mind cuz after his playoff performances for the past 2 straight years, he didn't exactly help himself in the FA market.

other than one game, Boozer was softer than tissue paper against this year's Lakers ...

There's not a lot of money out there this summer, and he'd be a fool to not try to rebuild that bridge back to Utah.

Yeah his best option right now is to stay where he is.

You know what. Boozer has a good reason not to stay, and Miami would be a better situation simply because Utah is a place where it snows. The cold is not good for one with sickle cell; it makes their symptoms flare and go into crisis. If Boozer cared for his child (like what Fisher did), he could go to somewhere where it doesn't snow, and that'd be Florida.
