I don't know his contract situation but is there any chance the Spurs sign him in the next couple of years?

He has done so much better than I anticipated. If the Spurs had any window of getting him, it was when it was earlier. He was causing some locker room problems. Now, no chance really.

chill out dude... I don't know shit about players NBA contracts. I have no clue how the NBA business works but I always thought Noah would be a great fit for the spurs. he's a young, hard working player with defensive skills + he's a proven winner. He is exactly what the spurs need right now.

He definately would help with the rebounding and shot blocking.

No problems, you can't know everything. Joakim Noah's been an underachiever of sorts since he got to the NBA. He couldn't score and he was a little too skinny to be playing at Center/PF even though he's 6'11.

Always had hustle, but seems like an underachieving bust of a top 10 lotto pick. If the Spurs wanted him, they probably could have had him pretty cheap prior to the trade deadline.

He is exactly what the spurs need right now.

If you watched him during the regular season, he sucked. I don't know what kind of water he drank or if he's just a Playoff kind of player.

He's doubled his stats in the Playoffs, and EVERYBODY is looking at him right now, especially the Bulls.

If you want Joakim Noah now after his outstanding Playoff performance, you're going to pay more than he's worth to get him. Even then, the Bulls would be reluctant to give him up.

His stats per minutes are actually quite similar to his regular season output.

He's just getting more playing time.

i always thought Noah would be good for the spurs. and his lack of offense still make him a possible trade: how could be have a good big who rebounds and score ? and even if he scores a little, he has a good % (+ 50%).

that's still true.

a lot of people disliked him in previous threads:

now, it's too late. after his good games, he's unreachable for us.

Well, his playoffs performances are not that surprising. He actually had a pretty good season and i don't think he really improved his PER numbers in the post season.

reg. season: 24 min for 7.6 rbds, 1.4 blocks and 6.7 pts
playoffs: 39 min for 12.4 rbds, 2.4 blocks and 11 pts
