i doubt it could hang with the tv series, written by Paul Abbot. John Simm >>>>> Crowe. I probably won't see if because Abbott had no hand in the adaptation.

Not bad, although the plot twists start getting convoluted by the end.

It's worth the ticket price. The cast is great and the overall plot was entertaining, but for some reason the movie left a little something lacking. I'd rate it a 6.5 on a 10 point scale.
However I did get to watch that cute little gal from The Notebook, and so I should probably give it a bonus point for that.

you guys should really check out the BBC series it's based on, from the writer of Life on Mars (BBC). Netflix has it, and it is superb. 6 eps, one hour each. I couldn't imagine compressing even half of what goes on into two hours.
