Mousasi jumping to LHW but taking on Hunt??

Minowa vs Sapp…typical.

Is Nortje the same guy who KO'd Bob Sapp in that Strikeforce bout? I'd rather see Soku fight Mousasi. Choi will destroy Jose. :lol I'm pumped about the main events though. strange card..

Dream Event Producer Keiichi Sasahara said, “We decided to hold this tournament because we wanted to be recognized in many people. I'm well aware that core MMA fans will criticize us for holding this, yet we have to do this to grab non-MMA fans attention and survive. Since we reduce the ticket price, I hope the tickets are sold out, and we get the decent viewer's rate.”

It is what it is. I'm sure I'll be plenty entertained by it.

from here:
http://nightmareofbattle.wordpress.com/2009/05/20/final-preparations-getting-ready-for-the-ninth-dream/

and Canseco has a gameplan surprisingly...

http://www.dreamofficial.com/free/news/img/photo/1243081609/1243081688.jpg

“I don’t even know whether my punches can reach Choi’s head or not. While having a tight defense and using my footwork well to move around, I will take him down and end it on the ground with a submission.”

Easier said that done...Fedor had a hard time taking him down. I doubt if Canseco has the skills to pull an armbar like Fedor did... ;)

man joe warren was pretty impressive beating yamamato. get those guys in the wec to fight faber, torres, brown, and benavidez. who cares about weight classes. i'd love to see some co-promotions with the wec and ufc if zuffa can stack the bantam and featherweight classes in the wec.

"It's just one of those moments where – you know I lost two fights in a row, and I was in a state where I told myself, 'There's no way I can lose this fight.'"

"I got [Nortje] on the ground, just like I thought I would do, and I was pounding and I didn't want to stop," Sokoudjou said. "But I should have stopped."

"There's no bad blood. He's been nice. We've run into each other, and every time he's always been a gentlemen. I feel like a douchebag doing it. I'm really sorry for it."
