HOU is a good team and they will give the Lakers all they can handle. Nothing is set in stone and no outcome is predetermined. If HOU can play at this level I can see this series going 6-7 games.

I refuse to believe that Battier+Artest will continue to allow Kobe to shoot +50% from the field for an entire series. The Lakers will need their post players to step it up big time and for the defense to lock down.

The Fakers problems won't begin till the next series against Denver. Then it gets worse when you get whipped by Cleveland. Ouch, that'll be 3 Finals defeats in the last, what, 5 years? Oh man that'll smart!!! The Los Angeles Suicide Hotllne better double up on volunteers because it'll get nasty!

Well they won't meet the Cavs unless they can get by the Nuggets. But, the games will be played in Denver and LaLa Land and if the Fakers get lucky or David Stern wills a Faker victory, then the Finals will be played in LaLa Land and Cleveland.

The Fakers swept the Nuggets last season, and they won't get beaten by the nuggets in this season either. It's even more certain than last season that the Fakers won't get beaten by Nuggets this season...

It doesn't really matter because the Cavs will mop the floor with the Fakers. It is already set in stone as King Stern will crown King LeBron the King of the NBA.

I'd rather have my team lose in the Finals than get bounced out of the 1st round by the Dallas Mavericks. I can say that with 100% certainty.

And I love how all of a sudden LAL can't beat CLE when they've already done so twice this season. Wake up people, the only thing stopping LAL from a championship is themselves. If they play to their potential and stay healthy nobody in this league can keep up.

Artest must be off his meds. Because Kobe has scored 40 on him.

This was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard about Artest calling him out. Luring Kobe mentally into a one on one matchup is actually a pretty good idea. The most interesting aspect of it is that Artest is good enough defensively to get the best of Kobe a few times. This gives Houston an even better chance at baiting Kobe into isolating.

As far as the series goes...I have already said in another thread that I think this will be closer than the cocky Laker fan/Rocket hater thinks. The Lakers are going to be forced to play better defense. If Houston can slow the game down and keep the Lakers offense south of 95 points then this could wind up a long series for LA.

If Yao plays well, this could possibly be a long series even with Lamar taking his game up to a higher notch. I am still concerned about my boy Bynum. The first 5 minutes of him in the line-up will tell me how Houston's interior will fare.
I know we beat Houston soundly a couple of weeks ago but this is the playoffs. Laker bench going to have to bring it all. I don't see a sweep. Houston is better than just a decent team. As for Ron-Ron's comments on Kobe; Well, lets just see how this plays out.
