Media views on the Spurs' future (http://blogs.mysanantonio.com/weblogs/spursworld/2009/05/media-views-on-the-spurs-futur.html)
By Joe Alexander
Tim Duncan is under contract for three more season, Tony Parker for two more and Manu Ginobili for one more.
Here are some media views on what the future might have in store for the Big Three and the Spurs organization:
Cedric Golden, Austin American-Statesman
San Antonio's three-pronged attack of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker was good enough to bring three championships to the Alamo City -- Duncan won another with David Robinson in 1999 before the other two showed up -- but those titles came with a supporting cast that helped hold things together when things got a little crazy.

Tom Knott, Washington Times
The model franchise of the NBA limped out of the playoffs this week. This was the Spurs of Tim Duncan and Tony Parker and a whole lot of nothing, unable to match the balance and the shot-making volume of the Mavericks.

Sean Stancill, Bleacher Report
One of the fastest ways to go younger is through the NBA Draft. One needed position for the Spurs is the small forward.

And here is one look back on the what the Spurs' 2008-09 season ended:
Joe Boikess, NBA Outsider
It's hard to believe that two teams (Spurs and Jazz) who had legitimate championship aspirations before this season could be ousted so quickly, but this week it became a reality. So which team was the bigger disappointment? It has to be the Spurs.
