If he is healthy bring him up. Why should Glover get all the "fun"?

Good idea.

I'll hit the open three, I won't be afraid to shoot and I can throw nice alleyoop passes.

Linton Johnson needs to be activated. Just so we can see what he brings. What would it hurt?

Well, you knew you had no shot when they told you playing in flip flops was not allowed.

I was wondering if he was still on the team. I have heard so little about him lately and then they brought in Glover. So L.J. is still with us? How is he injury wise?

:lol

There's only one LJ in this forum. Are you talking about LJIII?

If LJ3 is going to play this season, it will be the culmination of one of the longer-running CIAPop ops in recent memory.

CJIII is the one! By the way, Mr. TimVP next time I am in SA I will challenge you to horse, 21 or one on one. Even at age 47 "I can still bring it and also can hit the outside shot anytime, anywhere!"

I've already emailed Pop about my own availability to help this team, but LJ does have about 10 years of youth on me.

Damn...would have been nice to have you between 1994 and 2001.

:lol Everytime someone mentions the Spurs LJ, I think they're talking about Timvp.

damn, when will people get past the "we need more personnel" ??

or "we need a second star"? or "the grass is always greener"

The Spurs have now, and had last May, all the talent they need to win the NBA.

They just need to find their heart, balls, or whatever organs it takes, to EXECUTE.

Is the Wizard of Oz still in business? Maybe the Spurs could charter a plane to go see him. Kori can play the Good Witch, and timvp can play ToTo!

I wouldn't bring in this LJ character. Last basketball tournement he couldn't even get his team to the playoffs! He's a choker!

He can't be any worse than who's out on the court now. Hell, I'll chip in for some new sandals.

Earth to you all LJIII is part of the team = just injured and then apparently in deep freeze all year! Supposedly a stud in the making, why not give him a chance??

"why not give him a chance??"

There is already one new guy Nazr to bring up to speed, and maybe two if Dion sticks around. And you want to add 3rd new guy with 14 games remaining? Pop has already said there is probably not enough season left for Linton.

He said that weeks ago yet he bought in glover. If glover can get a run i dont see why linton can't.
