I'm realistic. I won't make the team. But I'd like a chance to work out Timmy...

I liked him a lot more after his frosh year than I do now. Just never seemed to realize any of that potential.

Has the ability to be a solid role player, but I think those guys are flat out kidding themselves with the Caron Butler comp.

I generally share the same sentiment, but there's a part of me that thinks he might turn out to be one of those UConn kids. One of those guys who was thought to not fully realize his potential in college, whether it was the system or surrounding talent, only to become a pretty damn good pro.

He's definitely got the measurables and talent.

Hey, K-State.

Props on the Doc Holiday quote.:toast

DaJuan Summers at NBA combine:

Who did you interview with yesterday and how intense were they?

I had Philly and San Antonio yesterday. They were different. You don’t really know what to expect. It’s seven people in the room and everybody’s just sitting and staring at you and grilling you, but it’s good. A lot comes into it, but its fun. We’ve got to be formal, get dressed up, and speak well and just have a good time.

Comments from observers in the gym:

“Dajuan Summers had probably the best workout here. Then again, he was going up against Connor Atchley, so that’s somewhat to be expected. He absolutely killed him off the dribble. He was blowing by him, dunking on him. He had a bunch of really nice dunks. He looked good in the full-court stuff too. He was very good shooting off dribble, but not so good on the catch and shoot. He probably helped himself, but it might have impressed more people had he done it against Damion James like originally scheduled rather than Connor Atchley. You can see that he really thrives in these up-tempo settings, which is something we weren’t able to see too much of at Georgetown.

I would prefer Young over summers. but seems like these two guys and gist all play the same type of game. dont know if we would have much use.

DX currently has him at 37. He'd a pretty standard second round pick. Probably not NBA level but could surprise.

He's a taller Marcus Williams.

He's a taller Marcus Williams.

Um, not really. Summers is a much better shooter and much bigger than Williams weight wise.
