Wow, I have to admit I'm impressed that Houston didn't go out there and suck in this game. There are 2 main reasons why Houston won this game: Yao Ming and Shane Battier. I think Yao Ming has really been able to do what wants now that McGrady is out. Shane Battier's defense on Kobe is another factor here.
Houston might have a chance to win this series, but it's still anyone's series. Everyone outside of Kobe for the Lakers was nonexistent this game. The Lakers will have to depend on jump shooting to win this series, say goodbye to easy layups. If the Rockets win this series, it wouldn't be a surprise or an upset, the Lakers were the underdogs against Utah and were very fortunate to pull the upset and win that series, so we shouldn't expect them to do any more than they already have.
The excuse for LA not not winning it all last year was Andrew Bynum's absence, he's averaging 5.8 points and 3 rebounds this postseason. Time to put the Bynum excuse away, the Lakers just aren't that good.
No trash talking/trolling, nothing personal against Laker fans here or the Lakers, but for a team that went 65-17 to lose this game only shows how much the refs gave them those 65 wins during the regular season.
