Anyway, he’s still an excellent prospect, a big guy with nice athleticism, a high basketball IQ and a very solid array of skills. Sounds good. And he's a 7-footer.

Yep, Macvan is better. Not bad player, but he's ready for greater expectations in 3 years..

Macvan is a more talented player than Raduljica but not a better NBA prospect.

It's not like Raduljica is a big time prospect, but I can see him developing into a decent role-player in the NBA - older Bill Cartwright/Kurt Thomas/Vitaly Potapenko kind of player.

DraftExpress via Twitter:

Miroslav Raduljica is here in Treviso, but hasn't played or practiced. Had a game Friday, says he's too tired. Some people here are pissed.

Instead Raduljica will do a private workout for scouts at 2:45 with Jeremy Tyler, Ludovic Vaty and Bangaly Fofana. We'll see if he plays...

Miroslav Raduljica had a private workout setup w/tons of NBA teams, but decided to blow it off. Basically burning every bridge he can here.

Raduljica blowing off this workout could be a major turning point: A clear-cut NBA player telling the NBA that he has no interest in them.

A pissed off NBA scout, before storming out upon learning Miroslav Raduljica blew off his workout:"so this is what I gave up on my nap for?"

I just bet an NBA scout dinner that Miroslav Raduljica still gets drafted. I think still goes in 50s, but these guys are in a state of shock

Interesting.

Either he doesn't give a fuck about the NBA or he has a promise and did this move to lower his draft value.

Promising #49 to Raduljica is a no brainer. Spurs will have a lot of young players under contract next year. Going international at #49 makes a lot of sense and Raduljica is the best international prospect.

If Raduljica doesn't care about the NBA, spending #49 on him could also be a good move. It will depend on what international early entrant stays in.
