Artest hit Manu in the head; I think the back of the head on top of that, but I'm not certain. It was definitely a head-shot though. Fisher's hit wasn't anywhere close to a head-shot.

Kobe/Artest bruhaha is nothing. Elbows get thrown all the time, especially in the playoffs. What made it seem worse was Artest running over to Kobe to get in his face. No big deal, other than the refs blowing another call in a series of bad calls.

Although I would rush over to someone and get in his face if I got elbowed.

Artest did the right thing getting in Kobe's face.

What got him ejected from this game was the previous play with Fisher/Scola, that dumbass referee (I won't mention his name in a Spur's Forum :)) trying to control things and Ron-Ron's reputation.

The NBA rulebook states that a player must be ejected for "An elbow foul which makes contact above shoulder level." By the standard that's been set in these playoffs, Bryant should be suspended.
